Built in 1889, by the Sanders Family, the first outfitters in the state of Maine, pre-dating L.L. Bean by 60 years, this historic and grand Queen Anne home typifies the New England Inn. Rare Tiger Oak woodwork graces the Foyer, Stairs and Main Parlor. Two Guest Parlors, original art and antiques throughout, 6 individually appointed guestrooms, a 150 ft. wrap-around porch and a 4th floor Tower Room with 360º views of the lake, mountains and village, provide guests with enchanting comfort.

Mornings begin in the Butler's pantry with steaming fresh coffee and assorted teas. Your stay includes a full hot breakfast served by the fireplace in the Dining Room.
